Casa Miriam

Single-family villa realised in the province of Verona

Casa Miriam is an apparently simple, modernist-inspired building that celebrates technology and innovation through architectural and structural solutions. 
 
Casa Miriam was designed based on the dimensions of the plot of land. The glass walls and main terraces face south, avoiding the road and the neighbouring buildings and opening towards the garden. 

Inside, the modernist influence has removed corridors and passageways. This way, juxtaposed and overlapping volumes can be used and experienced to the fullest, free from static constraints, thanks to the extreme flexibility of the timber frame construction technique. 

The kitchen and the living area look like telescopes aiming at the garden. The thin wall edge and the full-height windows create visual axes, allowing the natural light to fill the rooms. 
 
The interior design is in line with the strong personality of the house. The photovoltaic system with a high-performance enclosure makes this building a Wolf Hause Energy Plus home.
